KIDSO Learning creates learning materials for children with autism and learning disabilities — both ready-made picture cards and worksheets, and materials personalised around your own child.

Ready-made materials (like the Visual Schedule Kit or Reading Foundations Bundle) are designed to work for any child in the target age group and are ready to download and print immediately. Personalised materials are written specifically for your child — using their name, photo, and a scenario you describe — so they take a little longer to deliver.

Our materials are grouped into three age bands — 3–6, 7–9, and 10–12 — and each product page shows which bands it's designed for. Use the "Skill area" filter on the shop page, or take the 1-minute quiz, to find materials that fit your child.

Most materials are designed with autism spectrum needs in mind (routines, communication, emotional regulation) or learning disabilities (reading, math, handwriting), but there's nothing that requires a diagnosis to use — many parents use these simply because their child benefits from visual, structured learning.

Take the "Not sure where to start?" quiz on the homepage — it asks a few quick questions about your child's age and what you'd like to work on, and recommends specific products. You're also welcome to message us directly if you'd like a personal recommendation.

All KIDSO materials are digital downloads — no physical shipping. You print them yourself at home or at a local print shop.

Materials are sent to the parent email you provide at checkout or on the intake form. Ready-made materials are emailed right after purchase. Personalised materials are emailed within 5–7 days once we've finished building them around your child.

A home printer (color recommended, since our cards use color to help with recognition), A4 or US Letter paper, and scissors to cut along the dashed lines. A laminator and velcro dots are optional but recommended if you plan to reuse the cards daily.

Yes — laminating extends the life of picture cards significantly if you're using them as part of a daily routine. It's not required, but most parents find it worthwhile for materials used every day, like the Visual Schedule Kit.

There's no account or download centre yet — your materials are sent directly to your email, so hold onto that email and you can redownload the attachment from there any time.

After you purchase a personalised item, you'll fill a short intake form telling us about your child. We build the material around your child's own photos, so it feels like it was made just for them — not a template with their name dropped in.

On the intake form we ask for: your child's first name, age, sex, diagnosis or primary need (e.g. autism spectrum, dyslexia), and their current level — what they can already do independently and what's still hard for them. We also ask you to upload 2–5 clear photos of your child (required) and, if you'd like, a photo of the parent(s) too (optional). Photos are used only to personalise your child's materials and are kept private.

5–7 days from when you submit the intake form to when your personalised materials arrive by email.

Start with one card at a time: show the picture, say the matching word clearly, and guide your child through the action while repeating that same word. Over a few days, let them do more of the action independently, and have them move the card to a "Done" spot themselves once finished — small, consistent repetition is what makes it work. (Full step-by-step instructions and a word/sentence guide are included with every schedule kit.)

This is common in the first few days. Try using just one or two cards at first instead of the full set, keep your wording exactly the same each time, and give your child extra time to process each card before repeating yourself. If it's still not clicking after a couple of weeks, feel free to message us — we're happy to help troubleshoot for your child's specific situation.

For ready-made materials, all sales are final — no refunds, since the files are delivered instantly. For personalised materials, a refund is available if you email or message us about an issue within 24 hours of placing your order; after 24 hours, personalised orders are final too.
